Spreadsheet Maintenance/Support/Enhancement
Call it what you like - all successful software gets maintained, it's a fact of life. Requirements change, processes adapt, and occasionally the odd well hidden error surfaces long after the software passed testing.
We maintain all the work we do ourselves, of course, but we'll also maintain spreadsheets that other developers have built. There are no minimum quality thresholds or complex criteria - we fix as we find. Send us a spreadsheet with a clear description of the problem, we'll give a cost estimate and fix it. Turnaround can be within 24 hours if required. |
| We also offer a remote patching facility that allows us to write a patch to correct a problem in a workbook. The patch can then be applied, by our clients, to all versions of the same workbook in use in the organisation . This means we don't have to hand fix each one which could be costly and error prone. It is also a very confidential way of working - no live models need emailing around. It is also a reasonable form of version control that may help with Sarbanes Oxley compliance, especially if we maintain an off-site master. |
| We can maintain and enhance worksheet formula functionality, VBA code routines and components, references to third party components as well as internally created components and their dependencies. We can even offer automatic updates via our (or your) web server. |
All our tools are standalone and require no installation, so any user who can run Excel can also run a workbook repair/update patch.
