Codematic - Spreadsheet Development, People Development and Flexible Support
Software Development
Our spreadsheet development projects generally pay for themselves within several months. This makes them a low risk high return investment of resources.
Spreadsheet development can be a very quick and cheap way to prototype a system to gain a deep understanding. As a bonus the prototype can actually be used as a live system. Often though it makes sense to migrate at least some elements to something a little more robust. With our approach the choice is yours.
The main components could be Excel, VBA, Visual Studio (VB/C/C++/C#) and Access, SQL Server, Essbase or Analysis Services. We also work with Open Office Calc and Gnumeric too (often Excel/VBA conversion projects), and we can even fix and/or migrate old XLM.
Training and Coaching
On-site technical team coaching can help bring important projects in-house safely, with succession planning and handover. Our training can be combined with support so we gradually handover to the internal team as they develop the skills and capacity.
We can also provide educational seminars targeted towards various departments and senior management, on such topics as building/using/managing spreadsheets safely, enhancing information flow, security and so on. Support
We offer world class support for your existing Excel/VBA based applications. We remove the pain and risk of running unsupported or poorly supported mission critical spreadsheet based systems. Full time world class cover for a fraction of the cost of an average full time developer. We provide rapid turn around break/fix support, enhancement and migration services.
Basically we can look after all your spreadsheet needs, ensuring your models work how they should when they should. This leaves you free to actually use the information they provide to manage your business.
Lots of organisations and independent developers/contractors offer development services, very few have the skills, resources and infrastructure to provide business critical support. Development without decent support represents an unacceptable risk to many of our clients.
Browse around the site and get in touch if you would like any more info. We're pretty informal, generally the best bet is to email Simon directly. Feel free to phone, be prepared to leave a message, and someone (Simon) will get back to you within a couple of hours. |
